First of all who are we?
Parla Italiano has been delivering successful Italian language training since 2006. It was started by Laura and has since then grown into a successful business based on the work of a group of excellent teachers, guided by the goal of achieving student’s objectives and most of all the idea of doing a good job. We like to work with our students and companies to achieve their objectives, ours is simply to do a good job. We cover North London, are based in Palmers Green, reaching Southgate, Winchmore Hill, Barnet, Enfield Town, Cockforsters, Oakwood, Wood Green, Finchley, Grange Park, Bowes Park, Bounds Green, Arnos Grove, Edmonton, Crouch End, Walthamstow, Chingford, Muswell Hill, and so on.
Parla Italiano collaborates with a group of mother tongue, fully qualified, professional teachers. Valentina, Marilena, Lucia, Margherita, Raffaella, Carla, Maria, Elisabetta, etc are a few of the teachers who have been chosen because they fit in. They are the best of the bunch and they like to do good work. And most importantly they have the tools and knowledge to do it.
The teachers who work with Parla Italiano are fully supported by Parla Italiano. How? They collaborate with other teachers to prepare syllabi and programmes. Teachers are regularly monitored and their teaching observed to encourage best practices, ongoing development and therefore quality of service.
Laura Scaramella, Founder
She is Italian, of course, from the area of Valtellina, at the very top of Lake Como.
Her career started in London about 20 years ago when she moved to England to live with her English husband. Then she worked in the city as a manager for a few years.
She always had a passion for teaching and this is why she became a teacher and then a teacher trainer. She took various certificates, specialising in teaching, teaching one-to-one and teacher training, to complement her degrees.
Founding Parla Italiano followed naturally from combining an in-depth knowledge of the corporate environment, understanding what students want and an ongoing research of the latest methodologies. Last but not least: she has a passion for doing things well.
