Small talk in Italian

When you’re meeting Italians for the first time, having a few phrases ready can save you from feeling awkward. These expressions will help you break the ice, start conversations with confidence, and sound more natural. Try them out next time you’re in Italy – or chatting with Italians wherever you are!

Are you in one of our classes? Then, try them in your next lesson, use these expressions with the teacher and also with other students, perhaps when meeting them in the breakout rooms, just before doing your speaking activity.
