By using this website (the “Site” or “the Website”) https://www.parlaitaliano.co.uk and making bookings with Parla Italiano Ltd., you agree to these terms and conditions.
Course availability and cancellation
Courses take place Online via Zoom. Please check the specific course page for exact details. Class times and course content are as advertised on the website.
Every attempt will be made to place students on the course of their choice. In the event of insufficient applications for a course, the school reserves the right to offer an alternative course of equal value or a refund.
The minimum age for courses is 18 years.
Private classes and courses
Any private class or course purchased must be taken within the scheduled time agreed when purchasing it.
After the schedule of our private lessons has been agreed by all parties involved we do not allow for cancellations.
We do not provide a refund of any group or individual classes booked. After 30 days from the date of purchase, unclaimed individual classes are lost and non refundable, unless scheduled otherwise.
Payment
Payment is made in full and before the course starts. Payment might not include the coursebook, which is purchased by the student.
Discounts and promotions must be used at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.
If a student begins a course and feels that they need to change to a higher or lower level, they will need to let us know after the first week of class and before the second week begins, in order for us to try and make the appropriate arrangements. If a change is not possible the student will remain in the current class.
Please note that final confirmation of participation in the course will be subject to the demand for each level. In the unlikely event that Parla Italiano is unable to run a student’s chosen course, they will be offered an alternative course or a full refund of the fees.
How to pay
All fees are stated in GBP. For currencies other that GBP you will be charged the exchange rate applicable at the time of booking plus a handling fee dependent on the currency and amount.
You may pay by card via our website at the time of booking. You can also pay by bank transfer to this UK bank , using these details 09-01-29, 30721913. Please quote your name in the reference section.
We do not make any charges for payments. We are not responsible for any bank service fees; it is the responsibility of the student to cover any fees required to ensure that we receive the full student fee. Always quote your full name on bank transfers.
Refund policy
We do not have a refund policy, courses will be charged unless the course is cancelled by Parla Italiano.
Please note that you will not receive a refund for missed classes.
We do not provide a refund of any sort for group or individual classes. Unclaimed individual classes after 30 days of the purchase are lost and non refundable.
We do not provide any refunds for digital courses. Once purchased, this course is considered as consumed.
Special offers and discounts
Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings and only one discount can be applied to a booking.
Date and time of course
These are detailed on the website. To attend a Zoom class, students must click on the Zoom link provided a few minutes before the start to enter the virtual class.
If no student enters the virtual classroom the teacher will wait for 20 minutes and then they will leave and the class will be charged as taken.
Public holidays
The school might not be closed on public holidays applicable to England. The school is usually closed during the Christmas period from 22nd of December to 6th of January.
Intellectual property of our company
All content published and made available on our website or in our courses is property of Parla Italiano. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents files and anything that contributes to the composition of our website or courses.
Acceptable use
As a user of our Site, you agree to use out Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:
- Harass or mistreat other users of our Site
- Violate the rights of other users of our Site
- Violate the intellectual property rights of the Site owners and any third party of the Site
- Hack into the account of another user or the Site
